6. Capital City Trail, Melbourne

If they're confident on two wheels, take them on a tour of the city via the Capital City Trail . Sure, it's a 30km tour, but you don't have to commit to the whole thing. Just do a section and call lunch.

If you don't want to battle the Queen Vic Market, South Melbourne Market is a better alternative. It's much more chilled, it's quaint and there are heaps of cute cafes close by.
