The Yarra Junction Community Market is famous for its collection of plants regional produce and locally made crafts.
The market was first held in 1982 at the old Yarra Railway Museum and was started with an aim to support the Upper Yarra Communities in various growth and development projects. At present, the market donates for ambulance, fire brigade, SES and other community groups in the Upper Yarra Valley.
The Upper Yarra Community Market can also be termed as a mini-gift market. Stroll through the wide array of gift stalls and discover many locally made distinctive items that you won't find in regular department stores. Select some crafts, art pieces, show pieces or any other gift items and make a purchase to help and support the local small business groups.
The Upper Yarra Community Market is a small trash and treasure market with around 30 stalls held on the 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month.
