Veludo was cool. But now things are even better. Creative switched on foresight has put together amazing renovations, both in the downstairs restaurant; where you can enjoy a delicious meal from our diverse, multicultural menu, or upstairs for the coolest bands and DJ's around town. And the icing on top, a function room to die for.
The originality of Veludo is impressive. Upstairs has options that others would dream of. A function room with style and grace, incredible decoration and lounge ware. A happening bar, with great service, and a funky stage for the entertainment. Even an inclosed dome room to chill, drink some wine, and maybe a private chat. Also Veludo is the only venue on Acland st with an outdoor, upstairs beer garden; the place to be in summer.

Garden Bar
Enjoy open air views and colourful, vibrant surrounds as you kick back in the newly renovated Veludo Garden Bar.
Located on our upstairs balcony, the Garden Bar is ideal for afternoon drinks in the sun or a casual bite on the weekend while taking in the views of Acland Street. Live musci upstairs Wednesday-Sunday.
Veludo now offers the perfect location for smaller gatherings and celebrations! Get a group of 10-30 together and enquire about reserving an exclusive space in our brand new Garden bar. We can offer a designated area with easy access to the bar and open-aired balcony overlooking Acland Street. Catering and bar tabs are available as an addition to your celebration. Check out our canapes and drink selection in our function pack.
