Victoria's Amusement Parks

Victoria's Amusement Parks

It dawned on us as Melbourne's Luna Park celebrating its 100th birthday in 2012, just how many amusement parks have come and gone.

As far back as the 1800's, there have been amusements in Melbourne and country Victoria that have thrilled us, but sadly only for a short period of time. Some are still around like the fabulous Moomba (1951), Royal Melbourne Show (1848) and Luna Park (1912), but sadly many are gone..
