A Tribute to Elvis: Rapid City '77
A Tribute to Elvis: Rapid City '77 is not only back for its one and final spectacular Melbourne Concert but also to farewell and give its own 'Thank you very much' to the iconic landmark venue The Dallas Brooks Centre before its demolition.
Rapid City 1977 was one of Elvis' last public appearances before his evident decline in health and of course disappearing from the spotlight of his adoring fans. The production's driving force is reliving the magic that this incredible man brought to millions of people worldwide during his lifetime and in particular on this very occasion in South Dakota.
Tony Franks has once again gathered the fantastic 12 piece Moreland City Orchestra 8 back- up singers his very own magic 8 piece band and a cast of colourful characters from Elvis's past
Take a trip back in time as the Dallas Brooks Centre will be transformed into a spectacular Elvis Memorabilia Museum featuring relics costumes and collectables from Elvis' final concert tour in 77.

The Melbourne Magic Festival is presented by The Australian Institute of Magic at the Northcote Town Hall.
A free meditation course exploring the timeless wisdom from a variety of ancient and modern teachings providing you with an introduction into the science of meditation. In each session we will delve deeper into this mysterious but yet practical science.
We will learn how to utilize these ancient teachings in a completely practical manner.
Each session is approximately 1 hour duration and is divided into a lecture and a practice.

Melbourne's own Circus Oz is back with a fabulous new show
2014 finds Circus Oz developing a spanking brand new show in our custom-built secret circus laboratory in the heart of Collingwood. But Wait..There's More makes its world premiere under the Big Top in Melbourne in June.
Circus Oz shows are co-created from the inspiration, ideas and energy derived from the unique skills of each member of the extremely diverse ensemble that are then woven into the core concept of the show like layers of a collage. For 2014 an extensive casting process was undertaken across Australia's vibrant circus community looking for recruits to add to the Circus Oz ensemble, structured around an equal number of men and women with various backgrounds, skills and bodies. Eight new performers are making their Circus Oz debut in 2014, joining four returning Circus Oz artists.

Played in memory of AFL's 'Mr Football' Teddy Whitten, who lost his life to prostate cancer, the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game raises money for prostate cancer research and seeks to bring men's health issues to the fore.
In particular the statistic that 20,000 new cases are diagnosed in Australia each year and close to 3,300 Aussie men will die from the disease every year, which equals the number of women who die from breast cancer annually.
A star studded alumni of AFL greats including Glenn Archer, Anthony Koutoufides, Brendan Fevola, Michael O'Loughlin, Dermott Brereton and newly retired 'rookies' Jeff Farmer, Justin Koschitzke, Andrew Embley and Daniel Kerr will pull on the boots for another chance at footy glory when they line up for the State-of-Origin showdown between Victoria and the All Stars.
