Tuesday 14th January 2014 to Monday 20th January 2014
As Melbourne moves into January with a forecast of yellow tennis balls and 40 degree days, we have lots to tell you about.
Its worth pointing out that only a selection of events is chosen for our weekly newsletter. We hand-pick 6-10 events that we feel have a wide appeal out of the 750+ (average) events we publish every week.
We rarely include the regular weekly or monthly events preferring to include events that you may miss unless we tell you about.
At the bottom of each newsletter, we now include a Short & Sweet list of odd, unusual but very Melbourne things you may not know about, have forgotten and need reminding about.
As always have a fabulous week Melbourne. MelB
LEGO Heaven
LEGO Expo - Brickvention is an Australian based convention for LEGO fans at Royal Exhibition Building this weekend. You must have pre-purchased tickets but you and the kids will see an amazing collection of models all built using our favourtite brick, LEGO..
The world's top tennis players hit town to battle it out in the Australian Open. The world's eyes are on Melbourne as tennis fans flock to Melbourne Park.
Midsumma Festival celebrating queer culture with a selection of performing arts, visual arts, live music events, as well as community and sporting activities.
* Missing images - this weeks newsletter was written, constructed and sent while we were away on holiday. We were able to do everything but create the nice little thumbnails to accompany each event, so a blank image had to suffice. Maybe I'll replace them when I get back in the office.
