There are many good reasons to head out to Werribee Zoo at the moment including the birth of a baby rhino, and Rhythm of Africa. Arrive early and enjoy an African safari before settling down for free activities and a stellar line up of contemporary and traditional African musical performances.

Herring Island Summer Arts Festival
Herring Island Summer Arts Festival returns for another season of modern art, photography and ceramics. A series of 5 exhibitions presented by Association of Sculptors of Victoria, Basketmakers of Victoria, Contemporary Art Society of Victoria, Ceramics Victoria and A4 Art Australia.

The Melbourne Story at Melbourne Museum is still one of our favourite exhibitions. Be immersed in evocative stories and discover the icons and personalities that have shaped Melbourne.
How about heading down to Point Nepean for Jeep Portsea Polo. See some of the world's leading polo players in action from Australia, New Zealand and England.
We do want to give a shout out for our good mate Gazza. If you have not heard of Gazza's Garage Sales, you have now.

Blessing of the Waters
The Blessing of the Waters is a combined celebration for all Parishes in Melbourne celebrated by His Grace Bishop Ezekiel of Dervis together with all the Clergy of Melbourne. The annual Blessing of the Waters takes place at Princes Pier on Sunday.
The promise of a year's good fortune enticed scores of young Greek Orthodox men to try their luck in the annual Blessing of the Waters Ceremony. The ritual commemorates Christ's baptism in the River Jordan, termed the Epiphany by St. John Chryssostom (from the Greek word for 'manifestation', 'epifaniea')..

WTC Yarra Loop is Melbourne's first water taxi service. Utilizing the historic Grower, the service departs every 30mins from WTC Wharf and stops at South Wharf, South Gate, and Federation Wharf (Federation Square).
