The weekends don't get much bigger than the Easter long weekend that includes the Good Friday Appeal, start of the AFL football season and the Autumn/Easter School Holidays.
Not forgetting Melbourne International Comedy Festival laughed its head off last Wednesday with over 160+ world class comedians in town.

Good Friday Appeal
The 85th annual Good Friday Appeal brings together the community to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital.The strength of the appeal lies in the thousands of volunteers who give freely of their time and their talent. Many groups and organisations fundraise throughout the year, in order to publicly present their grand totals during a live telethon broadcast by Channel 7.
The Channel 7 telethon is an opportunity for people to view the miracles performed at the hospital, to ring through their donations, and in many instances hear their contribution acknowledged publicly.
Kids Day Out
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre will be transformed into a wonderland for kids, with a giant roller-skating rink, sports clinics, the popular Teddy Bear Hospital, kids cooking classes, rides, music and dancing and so much more. Cost: Free | Gold Coin Donation
