This week, there's a celebration of some of our most iconic landmarks with Open House Melbourne featuring over 100 venues in a program that opens many normally-closed doors to the public.

Another jewel in Melbourne's crown gives a sparkle with the return of the Melbourne International Film Festival, and for anyone wanting to tap their toes to keep warm, there's the Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival.

World's Finest Films


Melbourne International Film Festival Melbourne International Film Festival celebrates 62 years as one of Australia's key cinema events and also one of the world's oldest film festivals. Victoria's Young Stars


State Schools Spectacular State Schools Spectacular, held at Hisense Arena for two shows only, will proudly bring together students from Victorian government schools in a stunning explosion of dance, music and song with the show also celebrating a diversity of performance mediums that include choir, vocal, drama, circus and orchestra.

All Aboard for Intrigue


Murder On The Puffing Billy Express Murder On The Puffing Billy Express presents a unique and intriguing night of murder, mystery and suspense aboard the iconic Puffing Billy's evening dinner train special. King Kong King Kong, performed at Melbourne's Regent Theatre, is a landmark theatrical event that brings to life the iconic story of an enormous gorilla's battle for survival in New York City. With a talented cast of actors, singers, dancers and puppeteers, the musical features revamped 1930s Broadway classics and dazzling new songs.

Hump Day the Swedish Way


Lill Lördag Lill Lördag, Swedish for "Little Saturday"and held each Wednesday at Melbourne's du NORD in Little Bourke Street, celebrates the half way mark to the weekend with a night of market price cocktails and Swedish street food alongside entertainment with Dj Mr Lob playing 60s 70s Soul, Funk and old school hip hop 45s.

Liverpool Clash


Melbourne Victory v Liverpool Liverpool and Melbourne Victory will go head to head and toe to toe at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for what will be Liverpool's first trip to Australia, with a huge crowd expected to fill the iconic stadium.
