Newsletter | #290 | What's On this Week |
Welcome to this week's Melbourne events, exhibitions, sports and community guide for Tuesday to Monday, July 24 to 30, 2012.
This week... with the winter chills inspiring a flurry of indoor events, the apparent yearning for curling up with a good book and a cozy fire brings yet another literary delight with the return of Eltham's New Voices Festival bringing book signings, performances and some timely, tasty mulled wine. Likewise, for those seeking shelter, there's also the Bayside Film Festival in Brighton.
For those bold enough to brave the elements in the name of entertainment there's the Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival with a fantastic range of music performances. Granted they have indoor shindigs along with performances in the street, but unless they've set up a crafty network of cardboard box tunnels, you'll still want to rug up when jaunting from venue to venue.
