This week, the National Gallery of Victoria is serving up a great program of events to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
The Northern Exposure Visual Arts Festival brings a splash of colour and then some to Melbourne's North East, while deep in the heart of the CBD there's a call-out to the young and young at heart with Wintervalk inviting the public to dress-up for a free parade and picnic.

A vast and diverse collection of works created in Congo and Australia with a distinctly African texture, Ngadwa's series of paintings and sculptures capture the essence of Congolese design with a contemporary flair. Asia-Pacific Chamber Music Competition, a prestigious event held once every four years, attracts the finest young classical ensembles from the region to compete for coveted prizes and concert engagements.
