This week there's many a stage lit up with the Melbourne Cabaret Festival presenting an enormous program of shows and events across town.
There's a Celtic double whammy with the Kilmore Celtic Festival on the weekend, along with the rugby action of our own lads taking on the Lions.
And this week we also have a Double Pass up for grabs for the screening of a new Indie Black Comedy to help keep community radio alive and raise funds for 3CR.
3CR Radiothon's Black Comedy Screening will present a secret showing of the new film by Stuart Simpson, director of El Monstro Del Mar. Held at North Fitzroy's Long Play, the explosive new Indie flick follows a social misfit who driving an ice cream van around decaying mean streets as he battles bogans and his own obsessions.
