This week the chuckles abound as Melbourne International Comedy Festival takes to the stage with an enormous program of events, while in Bendigo there's a grand soiree for wine connoisseurs.
There's also a basketful of events for the kids as the Easter weekend bunny-hops its way into the School Holidays.
And footy fans can rejoice with a good number of games across the long weekend to kick off the AFL Championships.

Easter Fun Day at Elsternwick's Rippon Lea House in invites children to join in the fun of their famous Easter egg hunt where they can scour the 14 acre property for hidden tokens to claim chocolate prizes. Long Gone Days on the Farm, held at Eltham's Montsalvat, is an exhibition by Karl Sietins. Developments, one of several exhibitions held at Seventh Gallery in Fitzroy, brings together the works of four artists who present views of their changing urban environments. The Chairman of the Bored
