This Week, the golden girls and boys get to paint the town red as the Victorian Seniors Festival kicks off its program of events with a free celebration at Federation Square.

Docklands Arts, Laughs & Blues Festival presents a great line up of performers along with a special day for the whole family, while the City of Hume gets its groove on with their tenth annual Music Festival.

Also, for those already feeling the post-AFL lull, Geelong will be hosting the Australian Masters Games with a whopping program of over 50 sporting events!

With the festival hub, Wonderland Spiegeltent playing host to the Comedy Gala Spectacular, there's also a great line up of performers and a Festival Day with fun attractions for young and old.

Hume Festival Of Music Hume Festival Of Music, celebrating its 10th year, offers a great program of concerts at various venues that showcase diverse music styles and traditions, with many events free or low cost. This year's festival offers its biggest program of events yet with guests that include headline artists Kate Ceberano and Debra Byrne.

RENT The Musical RENT The Musical, presented by Panorama Theatre Company, brings to life the hit rock musical that tells the story of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City. It's held at Frankston Arts Centre.

Guys and Dolls Guys and Dolls, performed by CLOC Musical Theatre, is the much-loved musical theatre fable based on the colourful stories of Damon Runyon. Performed at the National Theatre in St Kilda, the 1940s tale of hilarity, joy and old-fashioned romance, features well known songs such as "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat".

Oktoberfest Oktoberfest returns to Melbourne's European Bier Cafe with a celebration of beer, food and music. Embracing the spirit of the traditional German Beer festival, the special nights will include a live Oompah band performing, the very best in German cuisine, Bretzels and plenty of bier specials on offer by the stein.
