Vue de monde | top restaurant industry accolade!
Melbourne's Vue de monde has been awarded the industry's top accolade, Restaurant of the Year, at this year's Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Australia Awards for Excellence.
The coveted awards were announced on October 29, 2007 at a gala dinner attended by Australia's leading restaurateurs, caterers and industry personalities at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The Savour Australia awards are the most dependable and authoritative guide to Australia's best restaurants.
The Chair of Judges for the national awards Mr Matt Preston said arguably no other award scheme in this country could boast such a rigorous review process in which some 500 hand picked and specially trained judges with a passion for food and wine determine the winners.
Over 2,000 award finalists underwent a thorough, totally objective and independent review according to a predetermined, research - based and standardized sets of evaluation criteria.
