Women's Cycling |
The Women's Cycling Network is a result of the 'Revolutions for Women' research project conducted at Deakin University's School of Health and Social Development and funded by the Victorian Government's Women in Sport Program.
This project investigates gender differences in cycling, and the motivations, supports and constraints on women cycling.
The Womens cycling website was developed by Bicycle Victoria with support from Sport and Recreation Victoria, Department for Victorian Communities; Australian Government, Department of the Environment and Heritage, Australian Greenhouse Office; and the Cycling Promotion Fund.
Our aim is to develop a cycling culture among women and to encourage more women to ride more often.
