Shows at Wonderground and the Burlesque Underground are strictly for adults 18+ only and may contain gore, horror, simulated violence, simulated sexual violence, coarse language, partial nudity, and including images, concepts and themes that may offend.
Trigger warnings apply. All scripted and improvised role-play is safe, sane and consensual.
Wonderground offers intensive classes in burlesque, cabaret, dramatic dark theatre, MCing and stagecraft across all genres and disciplines. Both in-house and guest teachers work alongside you to help uncover and finely tune your craft according to your own learning style, interests and needs.
Function Hire
Whether it's a private party or event with a difference, a unique artistic space for rehearsals or performances, an arts or photography studio, a movie theatre, or a versatile creative playground you are after, we can provide you with flexible and personally styled packages tailored to your needs and budget.
Wonderground is ambulant accessible, with a functional bar, full upstairs kitchen and small downstairs kitchenette, multi-level green rooms, unisex bathrooms, a shower, mezzanine, courtyard, warehouse loading and various staging, props, decor and AV hire available.
Parking:
Mostly free street parking from 6pm on Shearson Cres. Please do not park in the parking lots of other properties.
