National Trust: Pentridge Prison Tours
At the "B Division" you will hear all about the highs and lows of inmates and warders alike from 1851 to 1997. Experience the shivers of yesteryear as you tread the trail of elusive inmates, under the stern gaze of the guard tower.
At "H Division," labeled "Hell Division" by its residents, walk headfirst into the mysterious underbelly of Pentridge. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-immersive technology, your guide will unseal the maximum security unit, exposing the stark realities of life within H Division.

Tours at Pentridge Prison include a chance to see inside B Division, A Division, H Division and the Rock Breaking Yards.
Three 19th century bluestone cell blocks - Divisions A, B, and H2 (untouched since the prison closed in 1997) are now publicly accessible.
