The Block is a reality lifestyle tv show on Channel 9.

The Block, where contestants live in and renovate rooms on a weekly basis and the winner announced as the couple who make the most profit from the sale of their property.

In 2018, The Block will present it's 14th season.

Gatwick Hotel

Channel Nine has confirmed it has bought St Kilda's notorious Gatwick Hotel for The Block.

The Block confirmed a 2018 season at The Gatwick has so far given $17,575,501.01 to contestants since premiering in 2003.

In April 2017 it scored its fifth Logie Award for Best Reality program.
